Set up Destiny AI: Data Assistant

A Destiny Administrator can enable Destiny AI: Data Assistant for all or some sites in the district. Once it is enabled, Destiny AI: Data Assistant is available to site-level users and district users with site access, who have the following access level settings:

  • Display Library Dashboard permission enabled
  • Administrator role

Requirements for enabling Destiny AI: Data Assistant:

  • Destiny AI: Data Assistant is currently only available to US-based Destiny Library Manager customers who are Destiny Cloud-hosted.
  • The district must enable Unified Navigation. Learn more.

To enable Destiny AI: Data Assistant for sites in your district:

Note: To enable Destiny AI: Data Assistant, you must log in to Destiny Back Office as a Destiny Administrator.
  1. From the top-right corner of the district Welcome page, select Applications menu. > Setup.
  2. Next to the district name, click Edit icon.. The Edit District page appears.
  3. Under Destiny AI: Data Assistant, click Select Sites.
  4. Select the appropriate checkbox(es) to enable Destiny AI: Data Assistant for all sites in the district, a group of sites (by site type), or specific sites.
  5. Click Save.
  6. A pop-up appears. To continue, click Yes.

Note: The enabling process can take several hours.
